Pause. Commence
Halloween theme music. Watch Jared run
and hide in the closet because he hates Halloween theme music. Scratch that.
Watch Jared take whatever device is playing Halloween theme music and throw it
in the conveniently full bathtub. Snap your fingers and listen as Halloween
theme music starts playing from all the heating vents. Watch look of horror on
husbands face and realize the hundred bucks you paid you paid the HVAC guy to
make that happen was the best dollah dollah you ever spent.
Didn’t happen, but
damn if that isn’t an awesome idea.
This day can’t phase
my office. It has been a hard and sad week.
So pictorial evidence
that the world is still a bright and beautiful place. In collage form because the good people of the blog world do them. And I like it.
1. My coworkers know the quickest way to brighten
the place up includes pepperoni and a front office gathering.
2. This is how my baby smiles when you ask him. I
swear. The noodles were delish.
3. Lunch time away from the office is one thousand
times better when your favorite one year old makes an appearance.
4. Phin phin found chalk in his stocking so we’re
finally putting that board to use. Rawr.
5. Snowflakes we made during Christmas are still
hanging in the window because we have none of the real thing. Zilch.
6. Phin insisted on sitting in the basket at Kohls.
I complied because I’m a good mother.
7. Smile face again. I love it that much.
8. Matching holes in my tights. What the wha…..?
9. And we’ve entered the OCD phase. Everything must
line up. Everything.

I love the pictures ... and oh boy about the OCD stage! i am so in the mood for pizza now ... the lunch i brought isn't cutting it.
ReplyDeleteThese pictures are adorable! Love them :)
ReplyDeletePhin is the cutest!~ Thanks for your sweet blog comments! Are you or were you LDS? OR does your religion bless new babies too? Anyway, thought I'd ask... Love how you used different fonts for the numbers on each pic! Happy friday the 13th!
ReplyDeleteRE:6 - Your mothering is inspiring. I thought I loved my kid, but now I can see my love pales in comparison to yours.
ReplyDeleteRE:4 - I recently made my own chalkboard and keep forgetting to do a post on it. I am a little surprised at how selfish that chalkboard makes me. I thought I made the chalkboard for her, but every time we go to play with it, I kind of take over and then get secretly resentful every time she messes up my artwork with her piece of chalk. Please tell me I am not the only one who does this.
I want to use the direct reply button, but it ain't working yo!
ReplyDeleteFaith- I hope you ended up having the lunch of your dreams. You deserve it.
Audrey- I am! And I hope your thirteenth was as good and horror free as mine.
T- I know. I hate to be the Mom that everyone else in the blog world slams because she's so damn good, but I am what I am. Amazing.
And you are not alone. You can't quite tell in the tiny pic, but there is mess in the bottom right. It used to be a beautiful garden. I was totally offended.
