Name your vice

What, corn syrup and red lake 40 not your thing? It's been a long week.

Fess up, what's your go to guilty pleasure?

  1. Ben and Jerry's half baked! I'll go with the fro-yo and say I need the calcium...

  2. Hmmmm. Cookie dough is my guiltiest pleasure! I could probably eat an entire bowl of it...if I really tried!

  3. Laura- I'll take fro-yo just because I feel like a hipster when I say it. Fro-yo yo. Except they don't say yo. And they probably eat ground vinyl records for a sneaky dessert.

Alex- Really, you have to try? I have distinct memories (maybe because it happened in the last year but who's certain) of eating a family size pack of Pillsbury chocolate chip cookie dough in one sitting. My memories of the next three hours? Not so clear. I might have been in cookie coma/diabetic shock.

  4. Fake cheese... all kinds. I'd include the old Kraft Mac n' Cheese in that too, plus cheese whiz on ritz, "port wine cheese"(it comes in a tub and is only semi-solid) with wheat thins and grilled cheese sandwiches made with the slices that come individually wrapped. I know it is completely fake and sort of gross, but I like it.

  6. Kelsey- You totally have me craving Velveeta Shells and cheese. I can do standard Kraft, but give me velveeta and we're friends for life.

LJ- I love those "cheese food" slices. Loaf of French Bread, cheese food slice and bologna is one of m favorite meals ever. Jared hates it. He's out right now so I just decided that's for dinner.

  7. I'm with you on the rainbow chip, but there is nothing like a good cheeseburger and FF.

  8. Oh man! What isn't? I love Nutella, milk chocolate covered almond toffee from Costco, tootsie rolls, Ben and jery's chocolate fudge brownie or chocolate chip cookie dough, girhadeli (sp?) double chocolate brownies, Glazed doughnuts, butterfingers, milky way, snickers, almond joys, kit kats, candy corn, oatmeal raisin cookies, hmmm should I keep going? No I'm starting to disgust myself now...

  9. Catherine- I like it. Classic. And if you need someone to stand in between you and a snickers bar...call me.

T - There's this place in town, you enter through a skeezy casino alley, that serves an Awful Awful. Awful big, awful good. Best greasy burger and fries ever. I think the smell of the 60 year chain smokers wafting in help the flavor.

Audrey - Whoa Audrey. Seriously, next time I want to go on a junk food binge, I'm coming to New York. We'll do this together.

  10. Carmel syrup. When I was in grad school I kept some around to decorate the top of my homemade cappuccino. Then--I'd head to the fridge with a spoon, and load up spoonfuls of carmel syrup. Mmm....sweet, sticky heaven!

  12. Julia- Haven't tried it, but will. Because I'm not willing to let a vice go untasted.

Faith - Jared and I have had major fights over one party scooping all the cookie parts. Not cool other party. Buy a pack of oreos. My brain says DUH. Then is says Yessssssssssssss!
