Ode to Pinterest

Oh pinterest, I love you so. Not just so. So so so. So much. I hope you get what I’m trying to convey. That I want to have babies with it. Babies that come out knowing five hundred and ninety four ways to arrange the mantle for Halloween and a thousand good curry recipes. Plus they got a tip on how to make your dishwasher run better. Don’t get me started on all the sassy quotes.  I love you sassy, clever pinterest baby.

Here are my favorite pinterest finds today. Share a link if you got one better.

Healthy cookie dough dip? Dip that really uses chickpeas but tricks people into thinking they need fat pants to go on? This girl is a genius. GENIUS.

This makes me think I can comb my hair. Just to fill you in, I can’t. I’m going to try anyway and I’m full of pretty hair hope.

Jared won’t let me put my decorations up without him. I feel this rule only includes pre existing décor. Anything I make in the next couple days is not subject to the “Jared wants Mel to lose precious days of Halloween Happiness” rule. Ha. Shoulda thought it through buddy.

Do you think if I do this today and tomorrow I’ll be bikini ready on Friday? Cause I kind of need to be. I forgot and ate a dozen cookies. A few times. Pray for me.

Never too early to get thinking about some fun homemade gifts for Christmas. Turn those thoughts to action people. Seriously, if I don’t start now, we’ll be reliving the year Jared bought a magazine at the gas station and tried to fake Martha Stewart’s signature on the front. Merry Christmas.

Got anything good for me?

  3. the cookie dough looked amazing until you said chickpeas? where is the chickpeas? i'm nervous, haha.

and that hair style looks incredible! i can't do that anymore since i am not relaxing my hair ... i'll live vicariously through you!

i need to be bikini ready by next Thursday and that is not going to happen. it is because i ain't like a fat king for dinner, not sure what i was thinking. it is what happens when i am home alone and i know that no one can judge me.

Jared is my hero ... not because he bought a Martha Stewart magazine for Christmas but that he thought that Martha Stewart's signature would make the gift better. it would have been fine on its own. I want to be like Martha Stewart, I would be awesome and crafty and everything nice.

  6. Mrs. P - Awesome, welcome! Just checked your blog out, cutest thing! Can't wait to read through it with a cuppa tea.

Audrey - WHOA! You weren't kdding, one million things. Everything is so organized though.

Faith- I forgot to do that workout last night. Whoops. So body is as body is. Oh well, I'll just wave my arms a lot and hope to distract humans from the lower half of my body. Plus I can hold my breath for something like two minutes, so if worse come to worse, I'll hide under water. Chick peas make me nervous too, I'll give you an honest review. Swear.

Em- Have I mentioned I love you. COOOOMMME BACK! At least to visit. Or we should finally do that lunch we were supposed to do last April. For reals.

It took me a little bit to get all the way back here but I kept laughing at your posts so now I'm offiically following :) Also, did you try the chickpeas cookie dough? I did and ohmygosh it went in the trash prrrrretty quickly. Maybe I made it wrong? But it just definitely didn't have the 'cookie dough' flavor I was looking for haha.
